How To Make A Dog Draught Excluder

formwork and welded mesh

Before pouring the slab on the slab, the entire surface is covered with a wire mesh for reinforcing concrete and provide reinforcement in this together.

To leave open the air gap between two walls formwork is in place throughout the perimeter of the slab. The goal is obviously to prevent the concrete from flowing into this space.

The open spaces above the walls are also scrapped. We can see small wooden plates stapled and placed vertically. They serve as buffers to slab, the concrete should not run too the ground there.

Nice work preparing for the hopper of the stairs. Doubling the beam on the left which I already spoken, and especially implementation of the reinforcement of a trimmer. It is a beam that is intended to retain the perpendicular beams that do not rely on the supporting wall to to leave a hole (hopper) in the slab.

An imposing reinforcement is placed above the bay window, it serves preparatory to a future based beam where the 40cm frame.
